Shimadzu's Training objectives are to:

- assist staff to build a foundation of knowledge that will build confidence within the team

- support department cohesion, through utilizing a collaborative approach and involving all level of staff in the learning process to achieve higher levels of competencies

- to encourage accurate relay of information from one staff member to the next

- to stimulate accountability from the entire team so pressure is not solely placed on Senior staff who may not always be available to answer queries
